Focusing on Solutions for Your Business
Billie Lee, division president, shares her vision and excitement about Transportation Services' direction and its efforts to support the evolving needs of the trucking industry.

10-2... Yes, and like the CB call we are "receiving well"! We are excited about this dynamic time in our industry and for our businesses. To help keep open communications, we're reinstating a Corelogic newsletter "10-2" to be issued 6 times a year.

We visited with many of you at the Truckload Carriers Association annual meeting in Kissimmee, FL in March - there we rolled out our new platform of screening services and really introduced Corelogic's Transportation Services division to the industry. Many of you have been working with us for years as we operated under different entities: CompuNet Credit Services, American Driving Records, Substance Abuse Management, Inc., Hirecheck and others - all industry leading organizations brought together under a single umbrella. We've pooled our expertise and experience to bring you the best of the best - we know the trucking industry and we know your pains and we have solutions to help you better run your businesses.

We're excited about what the future holds for all of us and we look forward to continuing our dialogue so we can better serve you.

Expanded Driver Screening Services Help Trucking Industry
Introducing new services helps Trucking companies save time and reduce errors while still complying with DOT requirements.

Many trucking companies are taking advantage of an expanded platform of services offered by Corelogic to ease the increasingly complex regulatory requirements and record keeping demands that they face.

In addition to Corelogic's long established CompuNet Credit ReportTM, which provides credit and payment history information on industry shippers and brokers, the Transportation Services division now offers comprehensive driver screening services and fleet management. By tapping into the established, varied businesses of Corelogic Corporation, the division has pooled industry-leading services to create a platform developed specifically for the trucking marketplace.

The Transportation Services division's expanded offering can deliver employment history verifications, CDLIS and motor vehicle records checks, criminal background checks, drug and alcohol testing and programs, driver qualification programs, fleet management and more. The services comply with Department of Transportation regulations, as well as other government and agency requirements, as applicable, or as requested by the customer in the case of non-regulated companies.

Customers appreciate the fact that a trusted vendor like Corelogic can help them streamline the hiring process and help expedite getting their trucks on the road, while also meeting regulatory requirements.

CompuNet Credit Report Enhancements:
Improved Hit Rates

We have recently made an improvement to the way we return information on the CompuNet Credit ReportTM. In the past, in some cases, it would look like you were not getting the information you requested, particularly when you made a request using an MC number. However, in many cases, we had information on the company you were after; even if our database did not have the MC number tied to the company you were researching. So, thanks to your feedback, today search results and hit rates are improved. You can be sure that we are always working to help you make sound financial decisions in extending credit.

After all, with the slim margins you face, you want to minimize high collections exposure and expense. And that's especially important when, on average, collections agencies charge trucking companies a 30% collection rate on delinquent receivables.

Product Update:
CDLIS to MVR: The industry's first combined CDLIS retrieval and MVR ordering service.

The Transportation Services team introduced a first-of-a-kind Web-based service designed to streamline the ordering of driving records (also known as motor vehicle records or MVR) by businesses employing commercial drivers. The nationwide service, named CDLIS to MVR, efficiently provides license and driving records from all states in which a driver has held a commercial driver license (CDL) - saving employers the time required to uncover and gather this information from multiple sources. With a single order entry, CDLIS to MVR searches the Commercial Driver License Information System (CDLIS), a national database of current and previous CDLs held by drivers. The report returns information about the current license and up to two previously held licenses. CDLIS to MVR then automatically places orders to those states where CDLs are indicated to retrieve the most current driving record. The resulting report provides employers with more thorough information to assist them in mitigating corporate risk while complying with government regulations.

"The last thing a carrier wants to be accused of is receiving only partial information about a driver's CDL history."
- Greg Conklin, Director of Sales

Stay Tuned: Driver Monitoring

Many trucking carriers have told us they would like the ability to proactively monitor the driving records of their drivers.

The Transportation Services team at Corelogic has heard your requests and will soon roll out a service which allows clients to manage by exception by alerting them to changes in an employee's driving record soon after they are recorded. As a result, you will be able to more quickly learn about potential issues and will be able to take appropriate action to help mitigate risk to your company and the public. In addition, you will be able to save time and money by not having to sift through volumes of unchanged driving records and by only reviewing driving records on employees whose records
have changed.

LOOK FOR COMING ANNOUNCEMENTS!

Said president, Billie Lee, "Our unique combination of industry-leading services gives customers the convenience of a single source solution from a reliable vendor focused on addressing the needs of a trucking company."
